TCPC News for February 3, 2021

Reopening In-Person Ministry Activities

The session prayerfully discussed the reopening of ministries impacted by the pandemic last night. It was decided that each ministry may reopen on a case-by-case basis while operating under CDC guidelines. If you have a question about how your small group, Parish Group, or ministry can safely and successfully operate during these times, please reach out to Will Witherington at wwitherington@tcpca.org.

Family Worship in the Fellowship Hall - Starting This Sunday During 9:00 Service

The pandemic has been difficult on everyone, especially young families. We are still unable to open the nursery at this time, but we do want to offer an option that would be beneficial for children and parents alike.

Each week during the 9:00 service, we will be hosting Family Worship in the Fellowship Hall. We want this to feel as much like being in the Sanctuary as possible, while at the same time giving children a little more freedom to worship alongside you. Plus, there will be a five-minute children’s time after the service specifically to minister to your children. We hope to have as many families as possible while also maintaining safe COVID practices of social distancing and mask-wearing.

Important details:

  • Please RSVP specifically for this service. We are still under the policies of limited capacity and social distancing, so we need to ensure that the room is not more full than is prudent.

  • We won’t be able to provide toys, so it could be helpful to bring your child’s favorite quiet toy to the service.
