The goal of The Bluegrass Network is, first and foremost, more churches. We firmly believe this is the most effective and Biblical way to reach the Bluegrass. There will be secondary efforts and benefits, but the “collaborative movement” we speak of is ultimately a church planting movement, one that fills the bluegrass with churches that exist for the glory of Christ and the good of the Bluegrass.

HOW WE PLANT CHURCHES

Funding + People

Every church within the network will devote a percentage of its budget to fund future church planting efforts, while also raising up members and leadership to fill those future church plants. Essentially, we are pooling our resources to plant more churches. As the network grows these resources will only compound, multiply, and lead to more churches.

FUNDING FOR THE BLUEGRASS NETWORK

The Bluegrass Network receives funding from three places:

1. Member churches (about $40,000 per year, as of 2020)

2. Funds raised by the church planters

3. Funds raised by the leadership of The Bluegrass Network
