TCPC News for February 10, 2021
Reopening In-Person Ministry Activities
The session prayerfully discussed the reopening of ministries impacted by the pandemic last night. It was decided that each ministry may reopen on a case-by-case basis while operating under CDC guidelines. If you have a question about how your small group, Parish Group, or ministry can safely and successfully operate during these times, please reach out to Will Witherington at wwitherington@tcpca.org.
Family Worship in the Fellowship Hall - Starting This Sunday During 9:00 Service
The pandemic has been difficult on everyone, especially young families. We are still unable to open the nursery at this time, but we do want to offer an option that would be beneficial for children and parents alike.
Each week during the 9:00 service, we will be hosting Family Worship in the Fellowship Hall. We want this to feel as much like being in the Sanctuary as possible, while at the same time giving children a little more freedom to worship alongside you. Plus, there will be a five-minute children’s time after the service specifically to minister to your children. We hope to have as many families as possible while also maintaining safe COVID practices of social distancing and mask-wearing.
Important details:
Please RSVP specifically for this service. We are still under the policies of limited capacity and social distancing, so we need to ensure that the room is not more full than is prudent.
We won’t be able to provide toys, so it could be helpful to bring your child’s favorite quiet toy to the service.

Preschool Teacher Needed for MDO
The TCPC Mother's Day Out Program is looking for a full-time preschool teacher (we are in dire need of another teacher!). The hours are 8:30-1:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The teacher would work with a very sweet, small group of 3 and 4 year olds. Plus, if a candidate has a child 3- or 4-year-old, he or she is welcome to attend the program for free. Mother's Day Out is a sweet ministry of our church where we teach children Bible stories, letters, and general preschool curriculum. If you know someone who might be interested, please spread the word! If you would like to apply, please email Malisa Anderson at mdo@tcpca.org. Thank you!
Good of the Bluegrass Conference
For the last five years, during the third weekend of February, we have hosted the Good of the Bluegrass Conference. We want to keep the annual rhythm of the conference going, but this year we will be doing something a little different since meeting together during this pandemic season is more difficult.
On Sunday, a short video will be released explaining how this year's conference will take place. This year's conference will be free and all online, so, be looking out for the video explanation this weekend.
Also, mark your calendars for February 17-19, 2022 and be saving your money so that, Lord willing, next year we can host another Good of the Bluegrass Conference on the TCPC grounds. If you would like to access the past five years conference content simply go to gbcon.org.
Trinity Open House
Trinity will be hosting an open house on February 25th at 7:00 PM for anyone interested in enrolling their children at the school. RSVP today on the Open House Facebook Event.
Trinity Job Openings
Trinity is looking for substitute teachers for all grades. Send an email to Vicki White (vwhite@trinitylex.org) if you would like more information.
