ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Bread & Water Class (Room 140)
The Bread and Water Sunday School Class is continuing their expository study of the Apostle Paul's Letter to the Ephesians. The heart of the Bread and Water Class is to further cultivate a hunger and thirst for righteousness. As Christians, it is Christ Jesus and His Gospel, the Word of God, that sustains and nourishes us. Let us pursue Him together with joyful hearts. We'd love for you to join us as we fellowship and enjoy the exceedingly rich truth of God's Word, appropriately apply it to ourselves today, and see how it forms our hearts, informs our minds, and transforms our lives. The class meets in Room 140 which can be found walking by into the Fellowship Hall, through the door to the right of the stage and taking the two subsequent left turns.
Bridge Class (Youth Room)
The Bridge Adult Sunday School Class will continue to make our way through the Bible (2 Samuel - 2 Kings), following the Gospel Project that is being taught in our childrens’ classes as well. It has been said that the Bible is “shallow enough for a child to wade in, but deep enough for an elephant to swim” so whether you’re brand new to the Bible or know it well, each week we look forward to learning more as we discuss together. Our teachers will be Luke Rakestraw and others from the class. The Bridge Class meets at 10:20 in the Youth Room, next to the Gym.
VERITAS Class (LL Boardroom)
The VERITAS Adult Sunday School Class will begin a year-long study of the Epistle to the Hebrews on September 15th. Join us at 10:15 in the basement boardroom as we complete our summer study of Ecclesiastes and then explore the contours of Hebrews – a letter that offers a matchless presentation of the supremacy of Christ, and that reminds us to trust firmly in Jesus until the end, giving glory to His blessed name. Our teacher for this study will be Ron Whitley.
Vine Class (LL Classroom)
David Kent will be teaching the Vine Class this fall, using G.K. Beale's classic work A New Testament Biblical Theology: The Unfolding of the Old Testament in the New to study the topic of Biblical theology. The Vine Class will meet each week in the Lower Level Classroom at 10:20 AM, we hope you'll join us!
