WOMEN'S MINISTRY
The TCPC Women’s Ministry exists to glorify God by promoting spiritual growth through studying the Word, connecting with others, and serving with joy. Our desire is to nurture your love for Jesus, our city, and each other.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study Livestream
Women's Bible Studies
We will once again offer Women’s Bible Studies on Monday Evenings and Wednesday Mornings this year. Both groups will start in September (September 8th and September 10th) and will be studying Genesis using The Promised One: Seeing Jesus in Genesis by Nancy Guthrie. The Wednesday morning study will finish Genesis by Christmas break and move on to study Revelation in January using Blessed: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Revelation.
You are welcome to sign up for whichever time works best for you. There are women of all ages and stages participating in each. However, there are some differences in the options that we want to highlight so that you are aware.
Monday Evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 PM - This group studies at half the pace of the morning group.
Wednesday Mornings from 9:00 - 11:00 AM - Childcare (infants-4-year-olds) is provided at no cost for those participating in this group.
There is no cost to participate in the Bible Study, however, you will need to purchase the book for yourself.
“It has been said that we become what we behold. I believe there is nothing more transformative to our lives than beholding God in his Word... A vision of God high and lifted up, a vision stretching from Genesis to Revelation that I desperately needed to see.” - Jen Wilkin from Women of the Word

WAYS TO SERVE
Baby Meals
Mommy meals is designed to help families welcoming new babies into their homes, whether through birth or adoption. The goal is to bless the family with 6-8 meals so that they can adjust to the new dynamics without the demands of meal planning! Contact Kristen Jackson for more details.
Fellowship & Hospitality
Our Fellowship and Hospitality Team is responsible for our Wednesday night suppers as well as special events and ways to connect with others at TCPC. If you have a desire to serve with this team, please contact marcelagarrison@gmail.com or kaylyn.johnson@yahoo.com.
Sanctuary Decorating
During the seasons of Holy Week and Advent, we have a great need for help on our team. We have a great time celebrating the season and preparing the Sanctuary for guests and holy worship. If interested, contact Anna Hogan at ourjoyfulmommy@gmail.com for more details.
Communications & Connections
This is the arm of the Women’s Ministry Team that exists to inform and connect people. If you enjoy writing, opportunities include social media posts, newsletter contribution/compiling, and all ways of connecting people. Contact Ronda Webber for more details.
Prayer Chain
The prayer chain is a long standing part of the Women's Ministries at TCPC. There are around 100 women currently on our prayer chain, who receive prayer requests by "kneemail" (e-mail) and agree to pray for the submitted prayers. It exists to support our brothers and sisters in Christ and their loved ones by praying to the LORD on their behalf. Answers to prayer are also passed on to the prayer chain when we receive them.
To join the prayer chain or submit a prayer request please contact:
Kathryn Lyon: 859-269-4212 or krl40502@aol.com
Janet Whitley: 276-3226 or janetjwhitley@gmail.com
Other Opportunities
We encourage women to find additional ways to serve through Parish Groups, Mercy & Justice efforts, Children & Nursery ministry, etc.
