The TCPC Women’s Ministry exists to glorify God by promoting spiritual growth through studying the Word, connecting with others, and serving with joy. Our desire is to nurture your love for Jesus, our city, and each other.
How to Get Involved
Wednesday Bible Study
Wednesday mornings or evenings, September through April. Join us for a time of fellowship, teaching and small group discussion. This is a great way to grow in your relationship with the Lord and other women.
L.I.F.T. Groups (Ladies In Faith Together)
Ladies of all ages join together once a month (from September through April) in groups of 6-8 women and share a meal, enjoy fellowship, discuss a great book, and pray together. The book selected for this year will take women into the Word and show us how to pursue and build authentic relationships that last.
Ways to Serve
Mommy meals is designed to help families welcoming new babies into their homes, whether through birth or adoption. The goal is to bless the family with 6-8 meals so that they can adjust to the new dynamics without the demands of meal planning! Contact Elise Holuta at email@example.com for more details.
Cleaning Assurance Care Center
A group of women get together 1-2 times a month to clean the Assurance Care Center Offices. A new volunteer coordinator is needed for this ministry to continue. This is a great way to serve a very important ministry within our community.
During the seasons of Holy Week and Advent, we have a great need for help on our team. We have a great time celebrating the season and preparing the Sanctuary for guests and holy worship. If interested, contact Anna Hogan at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
This is the arm of the Women’s Ministry Team that exists to inform and connect people. If you enjoy writing, opportunities include social media posts, newsletter contribution/compiling, and all ways of connecting people. Contact Amy Thompson at email@example.com for more details.
The prayer chain is a long standing part of the Women's Ministries at TCPC. There are around 100 women currently on our prayer chain, who receive prayer requests by "kneemail" (e-mail) and agree to pray for the submitted prayers. It exists to support our brothers and sisters in Christ and their loved ones by praying to the LORD on their behalf. Answers to prayer are also passed on to the prayer chain when we receive them.
The Women's Mercy Ministry serves the church congregation needs. Whether it is a short-term need such as meals or a long term need for ministering, Mercy comes alongside the grieving and struggling, the widow, the orphan, the poor, and the foreigner among the Body of Christ at TCPC. If you would like to take part in our service to the Body in this way or if you need help or know of someone who needs help within the church, please contact Verne Kern at firstname.lastname@example.org.
