TCPC News for June 2, 2021
Announcements from the Session
COVID Update
The Session met last week and, after spending time in prayer, concluded that we will no longer have Covid restrictions during worship services. For example, when you arrive on Sunday morning and enter the Sanctuary, you will not be ushered to a pew. We will continue to offer a live-streamed online service, and the Fellowship Hall will remain available for those desiring more space to spread out. These changes went into effect this past Sunday, and will continue until further notice. We ask everyone to pray for the Lord's ongoing blessing on our worship services. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mark Randle, and he will be glad to talk more with you.
Addition to Our Pastoral Team
We are very pleased to announce the addition of Luke Rakestraw to the pastoral team at TCPC! Luke interned with us this past year after serving many years on staff with Campus Outreach. Upon graduating from seminary and completing his ordination examinations this spring, the Session chose to make Luke's role as an intern a permanent position. He will be the Pastor of Mercy and Outreach, and we look forward to having an ordination service on August 8. Please know that we are trusting the Lord to fill several other key positions to our team, and please join us in thanking the Lord for bringing the Rakestraws to TCPC!
