Tuesday Fun Nights for Kids and Families
This summer we will host six Tuesday evening events for the children and families of our church and community. Similar to Vacation Bible School, children and families will have the opportunity to hear God's Word, play fun games, and enjoy some food!
The dates will be June 15, 22, 29, and July 6, 13, 20, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Parents are invited to stay with their child(ren) if they choose to, but we also know that many of you would like a little break, so drop-off is also an option (must be entering Kindergarten or older for drop-off). Signup forms are coming soon! For more information email Will Witherington at wwitherington@tcpca.org.
Assurance Baby Bottle Blessings
Mother's Day started the beginning of Assurance Pregnancy Center’s annual Baby Bottle Blessings campaign. This is a crucial ministry that provides free and confidential medical services and support to those facing unplanned pregnancies and struggling from past abortions. There are two options to participate this year. You can pick up a bottle(s) as you leave church on Sunday and fill it with cash, coins, or checks made out to Assurance. Bottles are to be returned to the church by Sunday, June 21. (Father’s Day) You may also give online starting today via the button below.

Adult Sunday School Class
The VERITAS Class has begun an 8-week study of the Epistles of John. We will be meeting both in-person in the basement classroom, and on-line via video conferencing. Join us as we explore the question - how can believers know with confidence that they possess eternal life? Our teachers will be Ron Whitley and Mark Deicher. Kindly e-mail Harry Standinger (hstandin@hotmail.com) to receive a Zoom link.
The King’s Brass Concert
We are excited to announce that on Friday June 18th at 7pm we will be hosting The King's Brass in concert. 3 Trumpets, 3 Trombones, Tuba, Keyboards, and Percussion. This will be an unforgettable concert that you'll want to attend. The concert is FREE, and a freewill offering will be taken to offset the cost. This is also the group with whom our music director, Stephen Lynerd toured for 9 seasons as solo percussionist. Bring the whole family and friends.
MDO Teacher Subs Needed
TCPC's Mother's Day Out is looking for two substitute teachers for the next school year, 2021-2022. These positions are perfect for college students who want some part-time work and experience with kids, or for anyone wanting to get out of the house and work a little. Moms who teach may enroll one child in the program free of charge. Teacher hours are 8:30am -1:30pm on Tuesday and Thursdays from September until May, with a long Christmas break. Substitutes fill in when regular teachers are sick and work one to three days a month. If either position sounds like a good fit for you, call or text MDO Director, Malisa Anderson, at 706-877-2114 to set up an interview.
Next Step Campaign
Please take time to visit our “Next Step Campaign” website and watch Robert’s video. In this video, Robert will overview the vision we feel the Lord is calling TCPC to in the coming years. This vision includes a continued movement of church-planting throughout our region, growth of current TCPC ministries, and much needed renovations to our facility at Rapid Run. This vision requires the participation of our whole congregation! As you will see in the video, we are trusting the Lord to provide $1.5 million in additional giving over the next 3 years. And, 80% of this has already been pledged! Upon watching the video and visiting the website, please prayerfully consider how you can partner financially in this vision. Please make your pledge by Monday, May 31.
