This Week During Worship...
11:00: Profession of Faith of William Sivy, son of Rob & Kate Sivy
All In-Person Church Activities Cancelled, Starting November 13
Earlier this month, we announced that all in-person church activities (not including corporate worship) would shut down after Thanksgiving. However, due to the recent uptick in COVID cases not only across Lexington but also within our TCPC community (including a positive test result from a staff minister), we have decided to move that date forward to November 13.
Starting this Friday, all in-person church activities that are not corporate worship should be cancelled or reconfigured to be online-only. This includes Sunday School on the 15th, Men's & Women's Bible Studies, and any other in-person activities that were scheduled for next week and beyond. In next week's email, we will be providing more information about our plans for continuing to offer virtual means of fellowship and spiritual growth.
Volunteers Needed for Worship AV
As our need for different means of worship have grown, so too has our need for volunteers grown to help make these live-streams happen. We would love for anyone who is interested in serving the church to email Stephen Lynerd about joining our AV Volunteer rotation. No experience needed! We are happy to train anyone who is eager to learn. You can email Stephen at slynerd@tcpca.org.
Angel Tree
’Tis the season to sponsor an Angel Tree child! This year is a bit different and will not require you to purchase a gift on your own, you can simply select a child and sponsor them with a $22 donation. Prison Fellowship will take care of sending a gift card to the child along with a message from their imprisoned parent and a gospel message.
To sponsor a child, please click here (access code is D48DE). From there you can select the children you wish to sponsor and pay for your child directly on the site. You can elect yes or no for additional sponsorship, but please note that you are not obligated to sponsor additional child(ren) or the parent.
