Rev. Mark Randle
Senior Minister
Mark has been at TCPC since 2006. He served on staff with Cru at the University of Kentucky and the Central Kentucky area before attending seminary and becoming ordained in the PCA. He became the Senior Pastor at Tates Creek in 2023.
Mark grew up in Loudon, TN and attended church with his family from his earliest memories. During his time as an undergraduate at the University of Tennessee, he was very involved in the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) and developed a love for integrating faith into daily life.
Mark attended a Cru “summer project” in 1993 in Hampton Beach, NH and that proved to be a wonderful season in his life. That summer, the Lord gave him a desire for ministry and more importantly he met Lisa, who became his wife the following summer! Mark and Lisa joined the staff of Cru and were placed at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, where they have lived since 1994.
During his days on staff, Mark began reading and studying theology and was very influenced by the ministry of R.C. Sproul and other reformed thinkers. He completed a master’s degree through Reformed Theological Seminary while working with Cru, and later completed a Masters of Divinity from Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. As he ministered to university students, he began to process the doctrines of grace and the nature of God’s covenant, resulting in his family joining the PCA and Tates Creek Presbyterian.
Mark and Lisa have three grown children, a son-in-law and one grandson. When he has time, Mark loves to read, run, golf, and take trips to Gatlinburg. He loves to have dinner with friends, laugh with the kids and take walks with Lisa. He aims to keep his love for the University of Tennessee athletics a secret in Lexington – but typically fails! He is thrilled to have the chance to serve Christ at TCPC and hopes to do so for many years.
